A Thought Worth Sharing

Happy New Year!!!

Here in this part of Tennessee we only got a dusting of show over the holidays.  That was good as far as getting around, but visually it was blah! 

My greenhouse was my lifeline--I have petunias, geraniums, and impatiens blooming, left over from fall, and they're in bloom.  My oleanders are about to bloom, and my one camellia in the greenhouse is in full bloom.

   

Another lifesaver has been the second blooming of my holiday cacti--the yellow is my favorite.  I was sure they had all done their do for the year when they bloomed in November and December, but several of them are blooming again. The fact that they are all over my living room means I can enjoy my fireplace and one of my favorite flowers at the same time.  Where's that cup of orange spice tea??
